Willem Esterhuizen has seen it all. He’s worked in almost every legal field there is, from criminal law to property transfers to notary services. Today, he is a director at Van Rensburg Schoon Attorneys, opening new avenues of possibilities for both his clients and the firm as a whole through his wealth of knowledge and experience.
After completing both his BProc and LLB degrees at the University of Pretoria (in 1987 and 1989, respectively), he moved to Pietermaritzburg to complete his articles with Geyser Liebertrau du Toit & Louw Inc. between 1991 and 1992.
Over the course of his career, he has been committed to expanding his legal expertise as far as possible in order to gain a truly holistic view of the legal hemisphere and practised as a criminal lawyer and civil litigator for 4 years before joining Van Rensburg Schoon Attorneys as a conveyancer. Today, he is an appointed Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Legal Practice Council of South Africa.
When not providing legal excellence to his clients, Willem can be found cycling and participating in social events around the community.
Willem’s key areas of legal guidance currently lie in:
- Administration of Deceased Estates
- Bond Registrations and Cancellations
